If you don’t know much (or anything) about ZetBet, then our ZetBet review is here to enlighten you. This colourful online betting site with a casino attached is a new entry into the online sportsbook realm, taking on its first customers in 2024.
This ZetBet review will go through everything that the ZetBet UK sportsbook has to offer, including all the pros and codes, the ZetBet promotions available, whether you need a ZetBet bonus code and everything you need to know about the ZetBet sign up offer.

Bet £10 Get £10 Bet Token
ZetBet is the latest sports betting enterprise from the betting experts at the very experienced Marketplay Ltd group. The most recognised name from the Marketplay Ltd group of companies is probably Mr.Play, that weird brand that insists everyone wears a moustache!
Like Mr.Play, ZetBet UK combines several playful gambling options into one, all covered over with a bright orange wrapper. It has dedicated sections for a casino, the obligatory live casino, scratch cards and of course, the sportsbook which is what we are most interested about with this ZetBet review. It is worth noting that the ZetBet sportsbook uses the excellent BTO.bet platform, which is one that truly delivers a dynamic sports betting experience.
ZetBet of course has the proper licensing from the United Kingdom Gambling Commission for UK players, plus a Malta Gaming Authority licence for players outside of the United Kingdom.
The ZetBet sign up offer is really easy to understand – bet £10, get £10. This means that all you have to do here is deposit a tenner and settle a total of £10 in bets. Once you have done this, the £10 ZetBet free bet token is yours. Naturally there are a few more terms and conditions in association with this ZetBet welcome bonus, and we’re going to get into them right now.
The Zetbet welcome offer is only open to new customers of course, and you can only use it once. You need to make an initial deposit of at least £10 in order to be eligible for your bonus, and you should make that deposit using a debit card (eWallets such as PayPal will render your deposit ineligible).
Your bet token will be issued to you once you have made a total of £10 in settled bets, all with odds of at least Evens (2.00). You will then have 14 days in which to use your £10 bet token, else it will be removed from your account. Your bet token can only be used on selections with total odds of 4/5 (1.80) or higher. As is always the case with these types of offer, your bet token stake is not returned if your bet is a winning one, only your winnings.
For ongoing customers, there are only two other sports-related bonuses available but they do stretch the definition of ‘promotion’ a little thinly. We have included them below so that you are aware of them and can make your own mind up about them.
Here are concise details of the offers available at the ZetBet UK online sportsbook:
ZetBet promotions | Offer description | Wager requirement | Min qualify odds | Offer expiry | Min deposit |
Welcome Offer | Bet £10, Get £10 | None | Evens | 14 days | £10 |
Take Control & Cash Out | Cash out | n/a | 1/10 | n/a | n/a |
Boost Your Zet Bets | Acca boost | n/a | 1/5 | n/a | n/a |
Currently, the ZetBet free bet welcome offer is the only ZetBet free bet that is offered by this sportsbook. We’ve found no evidence of ZetBet free bet deals offered in the past beyond the ZetBet sign up offer.
If we hear of news of a ZetBet free bet being offered beyound the ZetBet welcome offer then this information will be quickly relayed to you via these very pages. Other sites do have free bets available, and you can read all about the latest free bets on offer here.
As we have already outlined, ZetBet has the proper licensing from the UKGC to accept players from the UK, so ZetBet UK is perfectly safe and legal in this regard. ZetBet’s owners – MarketPlay – have been around since 2014 when they launched their first online gambling venture. Their sports betting licence has been active since 2017, and their casino licence since 2014. We have not found any evidence of licence problems or suspensions since MarketPlay’s UKGC licence was granted.
As will most sensible online gambling sites, ZetBet offers a strict responsible gambling section as the care of its customers is something it takes very seriously indeed. There is a decent responsible gambling section at the site which outlines ZetBet’s commitment to its customers, including the protection of minors, how to prevent and manage compulsive gambling and how to ascertain if your gambling is problematic in the first place.
In addition to the advice there are concrete ways in which you can protect yourself, including time limits and self exclusion. Finally there are direct links you can explore to helpful organisations such as Gambling Therapy and Gamblers Anonymous.
Now it is time in our ZetBet review to dig a little deeper and see what makes the ZetBet sports betting site tick. By reviewing this information we hope you’ll be able to make a considered choice at to whether you’ll be placing ZetBet on your list of your favourite sports books.
The easy answer to this question is ‘all of them’. Because of the extensive nature of the BTO.bet platform most global events are automatically captured meaning countless betting opportunites arise. In terms of numbers football dominates just as you would expect – we found well over 1,500 matches available when we reviewed the betting options.
Also boasting impressive numbers are tennis, basketball, golf, baseball, American football and – a little surprisingly – table tennis. We were also impressed with ZetBet’s eSports options as the site has fantastic coverage of CS:GO, LOL, DoTA 2, Kings of Glory, Rainbow Six, Rocket League, Starcraft and Valorant.
ZetBet does not offer ‘best odds guaranteed‘ but when we compared the odds directly for specific events with other leading sports books we found them to be very competitive indeed. If ZetBet becomes your sports book of choice you won’t really have to look elsewhere to get better odds.
While coming up with our ZetBet review we found the lower betting limits to be very generous here – all bets have to be a minimum of £0.10 which compares favorably to other sites. We could not find any information about the upper betting limits in operation at the site and became frustrated in our efforts to do so.
The live betting section at ZetBet is just as comprehensive as their future markets section and really is kept up to the moment. The number of markets though was not as numerous as we have seen at other sites, but in terms of football at least we can’t imagine that a single match is not available for live betting.
Currently there is no live streaming at all at ZetBet. Other sites and media corporations seem to currently have a stranglehold on streaming, so we don’t expect this situation to change in the near future, but we will tell you if it does.
The cash out section at ZetBet is tied in the live betting section of course. Most live events will have cash out facilites, plus you should be able to cash-out pre-event bets you made if you have a change of heart, for a slight loss though.
In terms of other features we are struggling a little, and this is something that needs to be improved.
We are going to have to give our lowest marks in our ZetBet review for the site’s customer service options. While the FAQs section is decent enough, clicking on the ‘contact us’ section will only bring up a button marked ‘Email Us’. The ZetBet support team is available 8am-midnight (CET) but if the team only responds to emails it’s hardly ideal.
We hope ZetBet adds live chat as a minimum soon. We found a live chat applet ‘by accident’ while looking at the deposit options, but it seemed to be unmonitored.
The sign up process at ZetNet is similar to registering at most other sports betting sites but to dispel any confusing clouds we are going to walk you though the process anyhow.
Naturally, you will want to pop along to ZetBet in order to kick off the process. You can use the button below to do just that.
The button at the ZetBet site you are looking for is marked ‘Open Account’. Click this to start the kind of form-filling you should by now be familar with. Actually, the sign-up process is much easier than most sites!
There is actually no need to verify your account when you first sign up at ZetBet, although you will receive an email with your full account details. You may need to verify your account when you make a withdrawal though.
You will be automatically transfered through to the deposit section when you have completed your sign up at ZetBet, so you can choose from any of the options below. Make sure to use a debit card else you will not get your deposit bonus!
To place a bet all you need to do is find the event you want to bet on and then click on the odds of the outcome of your wager. This will then transfer it to your betting slip so you can select your stake.
In the example above we have placed a £1 bet on Nottingham Forest to beat Newcastle United in the English Premier League at odds of 5.45. We need to hit the ‘place bets’ button to confirm our stake. If we win, we would return £5.45.
You can head to the cashier section at any time to withdraw funds from your account. Note that you need to use a payment method you’ve previously used for a deposit in order to withdraw. You can find details about withdrawals later on in this ZetBet review. Once ZetBet reviews your payment request it should be with you in zero to four days, depending on the payment method you chose.
ZetBet does not offer a dedicated betting app. If you want to use ZetBet on your mobile device you will need to use your favourite mobile browser and head to the site just as you would on a mobile desktop. The full functionality of ZetBet is available on mobile and the site works really well on phone and tablets, although we have seen better.
There is currently no ZetBet bonus code or ZetBet promo code that we are aware of. We did notice that when we registered there was space for a ZetBet bonus code on the registration page so this suggests there has been a ZetBet promo code or two available in the past. Hopefully there will be again, and we’ll tell you if we find one along with any other ZetBet offers we find.
You can also check out details of bonus codes and promo codes available at all the leading UK betting sites here:
There is a ZetBet casino which is the Mr.Play online casino with a ZetBet skin – this is not a bad thing though as we have been admirers of Mr.Play for many years! There are plenty of top providers available here, including NetEnt, Microgaming and Pragmatic Play. This means there are just too many online slots to count!
Table games are more limited but all the standards such as blackjack, roulette and baccarat are all available. Special mention for the live casino too, which has many dozens of tables covering everything from blackjack to game shows. With so many options you’ll never be short of a live seat in which to sit!
There are enough payment options at ZetBet to please anyone, and getting your money into and out of your account is very, very easy. Below are all the salient facts that you need to know.
Banking Method | Fees | Min Deposit | Min Withdraw | Withdraw times |
Debit Cards | None | £10 | £10 | 0-6 days |

Now let’s back track over our ZetBet review and pick out the things we really like about ZetBet, and the things we found that left a sour taste in the mouth.
*
We were interested to learn that the people behind Mr.Play were launching another site and so we have been interested to find out exactly what ZetBet has to offer. While coming up with our ZetBet review were impressed by what we found although as the site is very much a clone of Mr.Play that perhaps is not too surprising!
The ‘nuts and bolts’ sports betting side of ZetBet is very impressive, although that is down to BTO.bet whose sports betting software is among the very best in the business. The ZetBet site itself does need a tiny bit of attention, and the addition of live support (or the clearing up of the c0nfusion over live support at least) is a must.
Overall we are happy to recommend ZetBet as a safe and satisfying place at which all your sports betting needs can be attended to. Don’t forget to claim your ZetBet welcome bonus when you sign up!
Zetbet Review Page - Customer Reviews
They blocked my account
My account was blocked. They kept all the funds from the sports betting account. I lost money there, made another deposit and my account was closed, the money is not returned.
Should improve their customer support
ZetBet is a good platform for betting lovers. The site is safe and easy to use. Their interface and options are really good. But the site really does need to be clear as to whether live support is available or not, and if not, it needs to be added. Because I called their customer support but nobody answered.

Should consider their withdrawal fee
This one is a bit of a mystery as no other deposit methods seem to attract a fee, so even though the fee for PayPal is a minimal one at 2.5% it is still something that we would prefer not to be there. And their withdrawal process should be quicker.
