Next, is Facebook with 10m followed by TikTok with 8.4m. On X, 6.2m follow England&#8217;s official account.<\/p>\n<p>Compared to France, England only beats them when it comes to Facebook. Les Bleus comfortably got the better of Gareth Southgate&#8217;s side on Instagram and TikTok.<\/p>\n<p>For X, Didier Deschamps side only better England by 200k. Nonetheless, it&#8217;s not the ideal start to the tournament for the Three Lions but it&#8217;s what happens on the pitch that will really count.<\/p>\n<h2>France Win The Battle Of Euro 2024 Social Media Followers<\/h2>\n<p>France have demonstrated their social media prowess by claiming top spot. Les Bleus has more followers on X and TikTok than any other nation set to appear at Euro 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, Didier Deschamps side has approximately 41.1m followers across the four platforms we analysed. Their strongest comes via Instagram, with 15.6m followers.<\/p>\n<p>On the pitch, the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann, Eduardo Camavinga and William Saliba will all be helping fire Deschamps side to glory.<\/p>\n<p>Off it, the French are head and shoulders above every other Euro 2024 nation in terms of social media followers. Is their hugely popular following online a sign of things to come in Germany?<\/p>\n<h2>Scotland Has More Followers Than Austria, the Czech Republic and Ukraine Combined<\/h2>\n<p>Scotland&#8217;s 1.7m followers across X, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok are more than the combined efforts of Austria, the Czech Republic and Ukraine (1,630,500).<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the Tartan Army almost trumps the three nations by an extra one million followers. When looking at just X, Scotland has 264.3k followers.<\/p>\n<p>Austria, the Czech Republic and Ukraine have a combined 138.3k followers. Just over half of Scotland&#8217;s total. More impressively, Steve Clarke&#8217;s side trounces the trio on TikTok as well.<\/p>\n<p>The Scots have a total following of 398.9k This is just over six times more than what Austria, the Czech Republic can offer at 62.2k.<\/p>\n<h2>Newcomers Georgia Place Higher Than Slovakia And Slovenia<\/h2>\n<p>Since gaining independence and becoming a FIFA and UEFA member in 1992, Georgia will embark on their first major tournament in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the fact that the Georgians have more social media followers than both Slovakia and Slovenia is mightily impressive.\u00a0 Even more so considering their country population is less than the Slovakian&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, Georgia has 310.4k followers across X, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Their strongest platform is Facebook, with 131k followers.<\/p>\n<p>Slovakia&#8217;s total comes in at 233,852 with Slovenia on 172,328. Which in fact, puts Matja\u017e Kek&#8217;s side bottom of the table of Euro 2024 participants.<\/p>\n<h2>Portugal Has The Most Instagram Followers<\/h2>\n<p>No side set to compete at Euro 2024 has more Instagram followers than Portugal.
