What Is Sky Super 6?

Each week, Sky Sports chooses six matches from the dozens of scheduled football matches and features them in its Sky Super 6 competition. 

The football betting competition is held in partnership with Sky Bet, but playing is absolutely free. There is no cost to enter.

You choose not just the winner of each match but also the scoreline. And if you correctly predict all six scorelines and win the possible tiebreaker, you win the jackpot. But even if you don’t correctly select the winners and scores of all Super 6 matches but manage to score the most points over the six matches, you will win the weekly guaranteed prize of £5,000.

How Does Sky Sports Super 6 Work?

The Sky Sports Super 6 betting offer is about more than just predicting results – it’s about goals. Predicting results is good, and it starts you off on the right foot, but knowing when and where the goals are coming is how you win.

When you make your six picks, you will predict the exact score of each of the six matches, along with the winning club. There will also be a Golden Goal tiebreaker question that will involve the first goal scored in a selected match.

When you correctly predict the outcome of a game, you are awarded two points for the prediction. But when your Super 6 prediction correctly identifies the final score of the match, you will receive five points.

Here’s how your Super 6 picks might look:

  • Liverpool v. Tottenham: 3-1
  • Southampton v. Manchester United: 0-3
  • West Ham v. Leicester City: 2-1
  • Everton v. Newcastle: 3-2
  • Arsenal v. Chelsea: 1-2
  • Aston Villa v. Crystal Palace: 2-2

Let’s say you get four of these six picks right in terms of the winning team. You also nail the score of Liverpool’s win, and Newcastle scores a late goal to make that 3-2 Everton win. That’s two correct results (4 points) and two other correct scores (10 points), giving you a total of 14 points for the weekly competition.

If there is more than one entry that ties for the most points in the weekly, monthly, and seasonal competitions, then the Golden Goal tiebreaker determines the winner. Correctly choose all six scores and come out on top with any tiebreakers, and the jackpot will be yours.

Sky Super 6 Prize Money

Every week, £5,000 is awarded to the player who accumulates the most points from their Sky Super 6 predictions.

If a player correctly predicts the scorelines of all six matches, they win £250,000.

There is an accumulator jackpot that can go as high as £1,000,000, beginning with the 2021/2022 football season.

Sky Super 6 Tips

Because everyone is playing the same six matches, many different football sites, including Sky Sports, will post Super 6 tips. There will be predictions on the winners, goal scorers, and estimated times of the goals scored.

Some punters will try to sell you their weekly tips, but most of the posted tips are free to read and use.

How to Enter Sky Sports Super 6

Entering the Super 6 Sky sports competition couldn’t be easier.
