Entain have strengthened their board of directors after announcing the appointment of former Wynn Resorts president Ronald J. Kramer.
Ronald J. Kramer Joins Entain’s Board Of Directors
Kramer arrives at Entain as an Independent non-executive director, and his experience in the gaming industry paired with a background in corporate finance can go a long way for the business.
Chairman of Entain, Barry Gibson said the following: “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Ron to the Board. He is a high calibre individual with deep knowledge and expertise of the US gaming industry. I am confident that his appointment will add significant value to the Board and complement our existing Board dynamics, as we continue to deliver our strategy of growth and focus on shareholder value.”
As stated by Gibson, the appointment of Kramer could be key in strengthening Entain’s position in the US market. The firm reported a loss of £965.5million ($1.2billion) in 2023, so bolstering their leadership team will give them hope going forward.
Kramer is expected to play an important role in improving Entain’s strategy with a focus on growing their brand in the competitive gaming sphere.
Who Is Ronald J. Kramer And What Does He Do?
Ron is one who knows a lot about everything, with a career spanning over 40 years in corporate finance, real estate and the gaming industry.
He is the current Chairman and CEO of Griffon Corporation, operating as a diversified management and holding company with a HQ in New York.
The veteran is also involved with the Board of Douglas Elliman Inc. a leading residential brokerage firm.
However, one of his biggest labels so far in his illustrious career is being former President and Director of Wynn Resorts Limited, a luxury hotel and casino franchise in Las Vegas (2002-2008).
Kramer brings intelligence and wisdom after hailing from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science. Alongside that, he also holds an MBA from New York Univesity.
