Racehorses are the most cared for animals I know
After this year’s animal rights protests at the Aintree Grand National in April and the Epsom Derby in June, top jockey Hayley Turner has hit out at those against horse racing in a recent interview. When asked what her view is on his matter, she said she feels the same as everyone else on the subject.
“The same as everyone else, it’s a joke. They (the racehorses) are so well cared for and better cared for than any animal I know of and the amount of money that gets spent on them.”
Just Stop Oil protesters are bored and got nothing else to do
With the Just Stop Oil protesters seemingly ‘doing the rounds’ throughout the top sporting events this year – Hayley Turner was asked her view on their actions and what she’d think if they turned up at this year’s Shergar Cup Ascot meeting in August.
“They are bored and have nothing else to do and are trying to get attention. It’s just a load of nonsense in my opinion.”
